The Quokkababy Hip Seat is an ergonomic hip seat that complements baby carriers. Designed to relieve strain on your arms and back when carrying your baby in everyday situations. Its inclined seat (≈20°) with a non-slip base promotes the "M" position and improves the child's stability, while the adjustable waistband comfortably fits multiple sizes. It features a functional side pocket and is made with a technical EVA foam interior and breathable mesh. It allows for 4-in-1 use (hip carry, front-facing, front-facing, and breastfeeding). This is not a hands-free baby carrier: the baby must be held with at least one arm.

Although outward-facing carrying is not recommended in traditional carriers because it compromises ergonomics, the hip seat is different: it does not flatten the back or force the posture, and its rigid, elevated base allows the legs to maintain the "M" position even when the baby is facing outwards. It's a more respectful option for occasional moments of exploration.

The Quokkababy Hip Seat offers four ergonomic and practical ways to use it. In all of them, the baby must be held with at least one arm, as it is not a hands-free baby carrier.
1. Waist (hip) position
The most instinctive and common position, ideal for when the baby is held with one arm at the side.
Relieves strain on the wearer's arm, redistributing the weight towards the waist.
Allows you to maintain eye contact with the baby and respond to their need for closeness.
2. Front-facing position (for adult use)
Perfect for calm moments, bonding, or short walks.
Promotes eye contact and emotional connection.
The inclined and structured seat allows the baby to maintain the "M" position naturally.
3. Front-facing position (for occasional use)
Allows the baby to explore their surroundings from a more active and open posture.
Unlike structured carriers, it does not strain the child's back or force them against the adult's body.
Thanks to the rigid seat, the ergonomic "M" position is maintained, reducing the usual risks of this orientation.
4. Cradle position (breastfeeding or resting)
Ideal for breastfeeding on the go or situations where the baby needs horizontal support.
