Designed for those times when you experience low to moderate milk leaks, Medela Ultra thin disposable absorbent pads are a discreet way to keep you protected and calm.
Breastfeeding or expressing milk frequently should help relieve the sensation of having full breasts and, therefore, leakage.1 In addition, the use of absorbent pads (also known as breast pads or nursing pads) allows any excess milk to be absorbed. If your leaks are light or moderate, or if you are leaking milk during pregnancy, you may not want or need to use thicker discs designed for heavy leaks. This is where Ultra thin disposable absorbent pads can help you.
Breast milk that comes out of the breast tends to move downwards, and this is the reason why Medela's Ultra thin disposable absorbent pads have an innovative oval shape that covers
a greater surface area below the nipple. This shape also adapts perfectly to the natural contour of the breasts and remains fixed, thanks to adhesive strips that adhere to the bra. This, combined with a slim silhouette, means you don't have to worry as the absorbent pads won't show through your clothing.
Although Safe & Medela's Dry™ Ultra thin are less than 2 mm thick, their performance is guaranteed. They have five layers of protection and an absorbent core that draws moisture away from the surface, so your skin and clothing can stay dry. The additional side leak protection means that milk remains trapped in the maternity pad until you take it off.
Medela's Ultra thin disposable absorbent pads are made of a soft, non-woven material with a honeycomb structure (similar to that used in baby diapers), making them comfortable to wear. wear, even if your skin is very sensitive. In fact, they're so comfortable that you might even forget you're wearing them, so remember to change them regularly! Each nursing pad comes individually wrapped, ready to put in your bag and use wherever you go.
Ultra thin disposable absorbent pads are just one part of the Safe & Medela Dry™: a reliable series of hygienic and discreet products to control the different levels of milk loss that you may experience throughout the breastfeeding period.
