Set of 2 x 10-inch inner tubes for the wheels of your Mountain Buggy® Swift, Duet or compatible stroller
The inner tube can be replaced by deflating the existing inner tube and removing it as well as the outer tire before replacing it with your new inner tube, placing the tire and inflating the new inner tube with a hand pump. Make sure to inflate your new inner tube only to a maximum of 20 psi.
General Tips for Inner Tube and Tire Maintenance:
We advise 20 psi (for swift™ and duet™ 10" tubes) as the highest amount of air pressure that should be put in all wheels at any one time. It can be slightly lower, but this is the highest maximum pressure. If it is higher than 20 psi, the inner tubes may burst or go flat. Underinflation can lead to puncture problems. This can happen when you hit a pothole and the underinflated tire is compressed against the rim. Underinflation can also make pushing feel more labored than usual and cause accelerated tire wear. To help maintain proper pressure, we advise you to use a hand/foot pump with a tire gauge so you can monitor the amount of air pressure you are putting into the tire. We only recommend using a pump Hand or bicycle tires, as an air compressor can fill the air chamber too quickly.
