The first dominoes for 3-year-olds: 28 tiles with animals on one side and numbered flowers on the other, to match by image or by number.
Before tackling "grown-up" dominoes, it's best to start with one designed just the right size. This Djeco set has 28 cardboard tiles illustrated on both sides: one side features small animals to match; the other side has flowers numbered from 1 to 6 to match by quantity. Thus, the same game works for those who don't yet recognize numbers as well as those who are already starting to count.
It's a classic board game in a smaller, manageable format, perfect for the first family games, where the important thing isn't so much winning as learning to wait your turn and paying attention to detail.
Designed for ages 3 and up, for the first games with family or older siblings, with two levels of play in a single box. A great starting point before moving on to board games with more complex rules, without losing the fun of a little competition.
